David and Nicola Hughes would like to introduce you to Happy Valley Brewery, a new family business established in 2010 in the heart of Bollington, Cheshire.
David, a brewer of over 20 years brewing experience, has installed a purpose built, modern Microbrewery. This efficient system will produce a range of Traditional Real Ales using our own unique Lancashire milltown brewery yeast, to tried and tested recipes.
Happy Valley Brewery uses the finest, freshest ingredients always locally sourced where possible. Our first ale was Sworn Secret (Gold Best Overall Beer - Stockport Beer Festival 2011), closely followed by Lazy Daze and then Black Magic (Silver - Champion Beer of Cheshire 2011).
We have produced three others so far in 2011 including Little Rascal, Tie The Knot and Bollywood IPA.
We are committed to exceeding your expectations and believe the consistency of every pint is of paramount importance.

SWORN SECRET ABV 3.8%
A Pale Straw coloured Ale with a low ABV, which punches well above its weight:
Strong Hop character is provided by Hersbrucker Aroma Hops.
The Ale has a crisp citrus finish.
Ideal for Summer thirst quenching, or a good session ale throughout the year.

LITTLE RASCAL ABV 3.9%
A light coloured ale:
Breath-taking hop character provided by Tomohawk, Columbus and Chinook hops.
This hop extravaganza is well balanced with lingering citrus and grapefruit aftertaste. A great session ale!

LAZY DAZE ABV 4.2%
Traditional Old English Ale, golden in colour:
The very best Maris Otter and Crystal Malt provide the perfect blend and balance.
Has a superb Hoppy finish provided by late aroma hopping in the copper.

BLACK MAGIC ABV 4.6%
A rounded flavour of traditional Stout and Porter:
The use of Oatmeal Dark Roasted Malt and Roasted Barley gives this ale the full "Meal in a Glass".
Has a full bodied hearty malt taste with a bitter finish.
